The Magic Ingredient of Manifestation

This week I've been talking with our community about the part faith plays in the deliberate manifestation of our desires.

Faith really is the magic ingredient that causes a change in us, both emotionally and physically, and therefore a change in what we attract.

Let's talk about how faith works – or more to the point, how can we work with it.

What Faith Is Not

First, let’s be clear on what faith is not.

Faith is not just saying you believe something.

Faith is not when we take an idea to be true on the basis of probability, but it’s not known for certain - that’s presumption.

Faith is not something you can adopt by just reading about it.

What Faith Is

Faith is when we accept an idea as true, or certain to happen – without proof.

Faith is like a muscle, you must use it to experience what it can do.

Faith is powerful due to the change of state in us that it produces.

Faith is a process of assumption and acceptance.

How Faith Works

First, we assume something.

For example, I assume that I can co-create what I desire, in partnership with Infinite Intelligence, which operates by the Law of Vibration and Attraction.

When we assume something, there is movement involved in our thinking and in our stance; we take up the position of that which we assume.  We assume the position.

Next,  we accept it.

Now, think about this.  If you accept, for example, a cup of coffee that I give you – you take it, you hold it, it’s now with you.  You accept it – fully, all of it. You do not take part of it and leave part of it – you are accepting it – in its’ fullness.

When we truly accept our assumption, we take it on and it changes us.

It becomes a part of us, of who we are, of what we have; we are no longer the same as we were before we accepted it.  It creates a change IN us.

For example, when I accept my assumption - that I can co-create what I desire, in partnership with Infinite Intelligence - it turns from “I can create”, to “I am creating”. It becomes tangible IN me, and it changes the way I think, feel and act.

The Subtle Shift

This two parts of assuming and accepting is like receiving an award.

When you are informed of winning the award, you assume the position on the podium or even just in your mind – in readiness to receive it.

When you are given the award, you accept it. You take it, it’s yours. You hold it and are now changed to how you were before you accepted it.

How To Practice Faith

Step 1.

Choose an assumption you want to make.  What’s your position going to be?  What are you lining yourself up with?

Eg. "Money flows easily to me from multiple sources."

Step 2.

Accept it fully.  Take that assumption on fully, and let it be part of you. You are no longer just thinking OF the assumption, but FROM it.  You think, feel and act in the same spirit you would when you are experiencing it, fully.

Eg. When you next pay a bill, or buy groceries, or plan a holiday – you are thinking, feeling and acting as you would when money is flowing easily to you.

Step 3.

Practice gratitude and appreciation consistently. When we are living from the place of recieving the fullness of our assumption, rather than in the state of still wishing for it or having doubt about it, ….. we are living in a state of gratitude.

Remember as you practice this: faith is like a muscle. Lift a little heavier than is comfortable, but not so much that you cannot hold it. Train the muscle and it will grow stronger.

With love

Will you allow it?
Can you remember being so excited as a child that you could barely sit still? That feeling of anticipation — it coloured everything around you, and you felt the lift inside you. As adults, it happens too… though perhaps, like me, you experience it a little differently now. This week, I had a restlessness I initially found quite annoying. I couldn’t seem to focus… but I didn’t feel like resting ...
When life says no
Life really does happen to reveal us to ourselves. Today I had plans of driving down the coast to see a friend, and then sitting amongst nature and writing an inspired letter to you all. It’s perfect weather…cool, overcast, rain…we’re in the last month of Autumn. I love driving the hills route with loads of trees, winding narrow roads and the peacefulness away from the city. I was really lookin...
Be You. To the Full
Have you ever experienced the raw joy expressed by a child —the kind that simply steals your heart? I find myself so drawn to it. Captivated by it. I experienced it again this week with one of my grandchildren. They had an idea… and shared it with such enthusiasm. "Do you like to drive a red car, Meemah?" Of course I replied, “Yes — absolutely — a red car sounds great!” Looking so pleased with...
