Manifestation Is Like Riding a Bike

The practice of deliberate manifestation can be tricky initially.

It reminds me of learning to ride a bike. I remember it so clearly.

I saw others doing it and thought it looked fun but when I tried it, I kept falling over.

I could slowly move along with my feet on the ground, but as soon as I let that support go, down I went.

I was given clear instruction – ‘Take your feet off the ground and just pedal.’

But my feet on the ground kept me from falling and I couldn’t pedal with one foot on the ground.

“Ahhhhhh!!!  I’ll never get it!!”  I remember being so upset with my repeated failure at what initially looked like so much fun.

The art of conscious manifestation is similar.

  • It looks so fun, but can be harder than it looks.
  • Instruction is clear – ‘Get clear on what you desire and head in that direction.’
  • But when all we can see is the opposite to what we desire…how do we keep going?
  • Often we are trying to do it with 'one foot on the ground', feeling like we have to ‘figure it out’.
  • It's in letting go of the ‘knowing how’ we actually allow it to happen.

Doubt does the most damage. Doubt and fear tell us to rely on physical signs for confirmation.

When manifesting our best life, we must let our heartfelt desires be our confirmation.

Don’t doubt them. If you want to doubt anything, doubt your fear.

How to practice riding the bike of manifestation:

  • GET ON YOUR BIKE: Be aware of what you desire. Give it clear and definite form.
  • PUT BOTH FEET ON THE PEDALS: Let yourself go there in your imagination; see it, feel it, hear it, smell it, touch it. Let your heart be filled with the joy of having / being it.
  • PEDAL, PEDAL, PEDAL!!! Persist in that state of mind as you walk towards it. Don’t let fear cause you to 'take your feet off the pedals'. When you cannot see what you think you need – keep your ‘feet on the pedals and pedal’. Holding that feeling of already living the fullness of your desire, will enable you to be conscious of the guidance every moment along your way.

The Law of Momentum keeps us upright on our bikes, but we have to take our feet off the ground and pedal to allow it to work.

The Law of Vibration dictates that we attract by the state we're in. To align with being in the state of having what we desire, we must take our eyes off the known, and engage faith.

Faith is not a flimsy support. Faith is a powerful state of allowing.

You have it in you. Like riding a bike - it takes practice.

Warmest regards

You always have enough power to carry what's yours
There’s something I’ve come to trust deeply. You always have enough power to carry what’s yours. If you’ve ever felt flat, stretched, or emotionally heavy it’s rarely because you’re weak or lacking power. More often, it’s because you’re carrying more than what’s yours to hold. Recently, a friend of mine - now a new mum herself - read about a young woman who had passed away, leaving behind a hus...
Tired of Effort as a Lifestyle?
There’s a question I’ve been sitting with lately. What if wealth - all the good you want to experience in life - doesn’t respond to effort…but to openness? We’re so conditioned to believe that if we just try harder, push more, stay on top of things, then life will finally open up and deliver for us. And yes - doing does have its place. But it’s not what you do that life responds to.Life doesn’t...
Giving What You Want the Green Light
Hello there, There’s something quietly shaping your year ahead. It isn’t your goals. It isn’t your effort. It isn’t even where you’re currently at. It’s in what you’re quietly believing. Faith is never neutral. It’s always pointed somewhere. Faith isn’t something reserved for religion or spirituality. It’s our innate ability to truly believe something. It’s part of how we’re wired as human beings. A...
